He is a chef by profession, and in a city like Rome, it is rare for a chef to be without work. “I worked in several restaurants in Rome,” Silviu Jipa tells us. “Last time I was a chef at the ‘Bambino Ges di San Paolo’ hospital.”

Silviu Zipa, who always wanted to go home, intended to open a pizzeria “al taglio” (per slice) in Bacău, taking the course of the pizzeria at Maurizio Capodicasa, one of the best pizzerias in Italy. I took the course. “Here in Bacău, the concept didn’t exist. It was revolutionary,” said Silviu.

Silviu and Elena Jipa returned home with their two children in 2019 and opened Pizzeria Mastro at ştefan cel Mare Street, no. 1, Bacău. twenty five.
