Artisan Gastronomy Festival at Parc Lozerol over the weekend in the Steps

Tastings are held at the producers’ stands throughout the festival to accompany their product stories. There are demonstrations of traditional cooking techniques such as making majiunur and pita in a pot.

To highlight the importance of small food producers and encourage the public to explore taste diversity, LA PAS branded products are launched: cheese, bread, honey, cider and craft beer. , scented candles, etc., produced by local associations.

All stands will be open from 3pm on Friday, September 23rd. On Friday nights, the Murani Circus School presents a show of tightrope walking and vertical acrobatics.

Timisoara residents and tourists await daily concert programs by artists JazzyBit, Mădălina Pavăl Live Orchestra, Simion Bogdan-Mihai and Lăutarii de Mătase. “5 minutes for a meeting with you” will be held throughout the three days of the festival. This is an artistic installation built in real time, featuring visitors, craftsmen and volunteers. For children, adults and seniors, addressing topics such as access to safe water, how to make polenta, circuses for children and parents, sensory education with aromatic plants, how to make pizza, and how to change advertising. Organized in partnership with the Seneca Society, Eco PlaygroundEcologos is an interactive space where children can learn all about ecological footprints, open for play and learning throughout the festival.

On the final day of the festival, a workshop will be held to make borscht according to traditional Ukrainian recipes. Borscht will be added to UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Endangered list in 2022. UNESCO declared the dish “endangered” due to the conditions caused by the war that started in Ukraine in 2022, defining it as an extreme emergency.
